Our Story
Gemma Webster creates bespoke motoring and equestrian portraiture for clients.
Every commission begins at a location that means something to you. It could be your favourite stretch of road, your home, a stable yard or somewhere that holds special memories. Photographing in places that matter creates images that are personal, timeless and unique to you.
Alongside beautifully framed photographic prints, selected images can also be transformed into luxury silk scarves through Finches. Each design is printed in Macclesfield, the historic home of British silk printing, before being finished with hand-rolled hems in France. They offer another way to enjoy a favourite photograph, whether displayed on your wall or worn and treasured for years to come.
I've always been drawn to the stories behind the things people treasure. Whether it's a horse that's been part of the family for years or a classic car that's been lovingly restored, every commission is about far more than creating a beautiful photograph. It's about preserving memories and celebrating what makes each story unique.
I believe the best photographs are created when people feel relaxed and able to enjoy the experience. Every commission is unhurried, giving us time to talk, explore different locations and create photographs that feel natural and true to your story. Whether I am spending the morning in a stable yard or an afternoon with a cherished classic car, my aim is always the same: to create photographs you will treasure for years to come.
Over the years, photography has taken me to some incredible places, from photographing motorsport across Europe to meeting wonderful people through commissions closer to home. Every experience has shaped the way I work today, but what has never changed is my passion for creating photographs that tell a story and will be treasured long after the day itself.
I want every commission to feel as enjoyable as the finished photographs. There is no rush, only time to get to know you, appreciate the details and create images that reflect what makes your horse, your car or your story so special.
For me, it has never been just about taking a photograph. It is about creating something meaningful that reflects your story and becomes a lasting reminder of the moments and memories you hold most dear.
