Our Story

Every story begins with a moment that stays with you forever.

My journey with Finches began long before the first silk scarf was created. At just 16 years old, I bought my first horse, Percy — an ex-racehorse whose racing name was Finch’s Gem. From the very beginning, it felt like we were meant to find each other; our names already shared a connection.

Over the years, Percy became so much more than a horse. He was my greatest companion, my constant, and the one who could make everything feel better. We shared 20 wonderful years together, creating memories I will treasure forever.

When Percy sadly passed away, I found myself at a crossroads. I was preparing to launch my new brand but struggled to find a name that truly captured what it meant. Then, while standing in the stable one day, it came to me — Finches.

Named in honour of my faithful friend, Finches carries his spirit forward: a reminder that the moments we love most deserve to be remembered.

Inspired by my photography, nature, animals and the stories behind the images I capture, each design is created to transform meaningful memories into something timeless, a piece of art to wear and cherish.
